1. Introduction
What a difference a year makes. And what a journey these past few decades have been. I remember so clearly the ‘original inspiration’ that ignited my personal fires back in the 70s, and led me to the vision that has mapped my life in the decades since then. I was so very lucky to be introduced to the new world philosophers who had tapped in to the ancient ideas of “Universal Oneness”… the reality that we are all in this together… that our thoughts and emotions unite us in a “collective consciousness”… and that these years we are passing through will mark the demarcation between the old unconscious paradigm of selfishness and greed, and the Aquarian paradigm of selflessness and unity toward the common goal of surviving and adapting during the transitions of the next 50 years.
There have been many times when I nearly ‘lost hope’ to quote a much overused phrase. Especially after 9/11 as I saw the fear based separative response of ‘the powers that be’ and the resultant widening split between the “them and us” thinkers. Especially since the main stream media have little awareness that their focus on the ‘negatives’ all but disavowed the reality that the groundswell of a changing tide has been building quietly and surely in recent years. Sometimes it seems that things have to hit rock bottom before they start heading up again and indeed 2008 has contained barrel bottoming moments!! Our year of ‘new beginnings’ … i.e. 2008 = No 1 vibration… ensured that anything/one who is not ready for entering into the spirit of positive progress had to go, and I am sure you can all relate to the huge wave of release that we have all been experiencing.
And then on November 4th as Saturn and Uranus opposed each other for the first time in 45 years the miracle occurred. (1) Yes I hope we will all get over naming Barak Obama as “the first black President” ASAP as indeed he is a man and his colour is irrelevant. And yet of course right now it is not. It is incredibly relevant, as his iconic presence symbolises the greatest revolutionary moment in the hundreds of years of modern history. That a little known Senator rich in intelligence, magnetism and good will should arrive on the scene on the exact day of an such an important astrological milestone is indeed a miracle. And we sure needed it. And hope returns. And how very beautiful that it is a black man who carries this light of hope. (2)
I am feeling so very positive right now that the wave of change will now roll in quickly and powerfully over this next 4 years. As we head toward the Mayan Calendar December 2012 date that is now also becoming synonymous with transformational breakthrough into a new era, we have some fascinating astrological indicators all set to kick into force.
