Biography
Maggie Kerr has been a professional counselling
astrologer for 19 years, and a teacher of Astrology and Metaphysics
for the past 14 years, on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
She is an accredited teacher with the Federation of Australian Astrologers,
and was awarded the FAA Education Award 2000.
Her studies have integrated Esoteric
(Spiritual) Astrology and Metaphysics, with many tools from
the Psychotherapies including Transactional Analysis, Gestalt
Therapy, Voice Dialogue, Client Centred Counselling and Jungian
Psychology. She also incorporates Mythology, Guided Imagery
and Dream Symbolism into her work. She is committed to the development
of Astrology being practiced as a healing modality, whilst believing
that our therapy comes in many forms and can be fascinating
and fun!
Maggie is a regular speaker and facilitator
at Astrology conferences and seminars in both Australia and
Internationally, and is well known and regarded in the field.
She is the author of numerous articles, has written and produced
a tape series, and founded and directed an Esoteric School between
1993/98.
These days her focus is on travelling
to share her work which she calls "Therapeutic
Astrology" - which is to understand the link between
our Soul and our Psyche, so we may grow into our fullest potential
and find meaning and joy in our lives. |
