Sagittarius Time + Eclipse readings for each sign…

Apart from giving the book a ‘plug’ I also feel it sums up our annual December process as we wind down the calendar year and cast our minds and hearts forward toward the year ahead… and it is the ‘big one’…2012. The Archer can only shoot his arrows cleanly if he is fully inspired by meaning and purpose, so as Sun joins Mercury in Sagittarius our job this month is to freshly inspire ourselves.
The thing is with so many shifting currents swirling us too and fro in the global picture right now, it can be very tricky to steer a clear course and to know whether to fully trust info coming in from so many different sources. As Messenger planet Mercury is doing his retrograde thing until the 14th take advantage of the positive use of Mars in Virgo, who can be very helpful to sort and sift and analyse ‘incoming data’.
Ask yourself what is useful and how does it serve me and my larger goals? Use the first half of the month to do the Saggie quest for more insight into the ‘big picture’, but refrain from worry and fret and driving yourself crazy by over-analysis. Be careful of your thoughts, words and messages to yourself and others, and don’t get swept up in big ideas that promise more than can deliver. On the other hand you will receive important information and useful knowledge that bring revelations and opportunities for 2012. Just don’t rush in just yet, but rather write down ideas and do your Virgo lists to plan and strategise toward your future. Proceed with confidence as you also walk with care and caution.
As usual the other caution with Mercury Retro until mid month is to examine documents/ contracts with care…dot the Is cross the ts etc…don’t be dismayed when travel plans go awry, information doesn’t arrive, computers have meltdowns…and all that stuff. Be aware that we need to be quiet and focused as we keep developing projects that can work… and eject those that won’t! Take one step at a time with purpose and awareness of implications to your decisions and actions.
An interesting feature here is the current UK inquires into the ‘phone hacking scandal’ the results of which may seriously affect the power of the media to stalk and tap in the future. As Sagittarius rules media/publishing/international/large scale things… this all fits the bill. It will also be interesting to see if any prosecutions arise…or whether the Murdochs et al 1% gang remain protected by their symbiotic power.
With Mars in Virgo forming hard aspects to the Saggie planets there will be a general unrest and ‘frustration’ as international global socio-economic chaos continues with no solutions in sight. So watch your own frustration levels and avoid conflict with others if their ideas do not accord with yours…and beware the urge to preach or convert! Also keep your “bullshit meter” on high alert as governments continue to tell us that somehow they have a ‘new plan’ for solving global bankruptcy. There will be lots of these ‘new plans’ (and people squabbling and casting blame) right through into July 2012 when Mars finally moves on into Libra. Who knows maybe someone might get real and do a moratorium on all debt? Why not? After all it is all just numbers in cyberspace anyway so just hit the zero button on the global computer! Splendid idea!
As Australia has many planets in Sagittarius in our national horoscope it was no surprise that Mr Big came to town and Julia gave him Darwin to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the ANZUS Treaty. Wasn’t that nice of her…and how they all licked his boots that morning in parliament. What a hoot that was!! Pity they forgot to ask ‘we the people’ if we thought it was a good idea to move US troops into Oz! Yes the news is that the Asia Pacific region is the place to be in the future so President Obama stated clearly that the US is moving in…and Australia is the Chauffeur/Gardener. Yes some wise Soul…can’t remember who…stated that our current political systems are just posing as Democracies. I think they are right.
So stay aware but remain detached from the global high anxiety as we head into the fateful year ahead. Equip yourself with the strength of your belief in a positive and bright future. Which reminds me to mention the current eclipses… triggering collective activity for the next year.
We had a Solar eclipse on November 25th at 2 degrees Sagittarius, which receives its echo in the opposite sign of Gemini on December 10 from a Lunar Eclipse. So once again the themes of international affairs/ ideas/information/ knowledge/media/truth & lies are centre stage. Eclipses have 19 year cycles so think back to 1993 for clues as to where your primary urge for growth will occur again this time. We need to take the Sagittarian/Jupiter cue and keep our eyes on the big picture and just what is our vision for the future - aiming high with ethical actions and holding a global view.
As I am busy writing my 2012 Year Ahead Report right now I’ll keep this short and move on to a quick rundown of how and where these eclipses will activate our 12 Signs. Remember to read your Moon and Ascendant sign as well as your Sun.
